It started with family
Support Mates is personal for Sebastian, who owns and leads it today. He grew up alongside his auntie, who has Down syndrome, and saw firsthand how the right support — consistent, patient and full of heart — could open up someone's whole world.
He also saw the opposite: how impersonal, here-today-gone-tomorrow care can quietly hold someone back.
That experience shapes everything we do at Support Mates. We believe great support isn't about filling hours. It's about building genuine relationships, creating opportunities for independence, and showing up consistently for the people who trust us with what matters most.
Every decision we make comes back to one simple question:
